Anti-Reflection coating minimize surface reflection from optical systems. Generally, there is three types of Anti-Reflection ,

Single Layer Anti-Reflection(SLAR) is used in not many optical element in systems.Typically this coatings are relatively characterized by broad spectrum range of anti reflection ,insensitivity to incident angle ,and lower cost than other two types of Anti-Reflection.

Narrow Band Anti-Reflection (NBAR) exhibit lowest reflection at a specific wavelength, so this coating is commonly used in laser application for minimizing reflection at characterized laser wavelength.

Broad Band Anti-Reflection (BBAR in visible , IBAR in infrared) is used in many optical element in systems. This coatings are characterized by very low anti reflection in broad spectrum range ,so they have sensitive to incident angle in comparison to SLAR
